Welcome to
The Holding Place

We’re so glad you’re here.

We are a group practice offering psychotherapy and clinical consultation, supervision, and training.

We work with people who have gotten disconnected from, feel overwhelmed by, or are struggling with their feelings or embodied experiences. This can happen because of difficult or traumatic experiences, the impacts of systemic oppression and discrimination, from living in a world that rewards always being ok, or for many other reasons.

At The Holding Place, it’s ok to be wherever you are and to feel however you feel. We look forward to co-creating a space to hold it together.

What We Do

Our therapists work at the intersections of parts-based and somatic approaches, which focus on processing emotional impacts and reconnecting with what our bodies know. These therapies are particularly effective for people who have experienced trauma and/or are living with the impacts of systemic oppression. For clients who have struggled to access traditional talk therapy and medicalized models of care, we co-create customized therapeutic containers that center curiosity and compassion. We have found that when clients are able to be present with their internal experience, this often results in deep healing and transformation.
